Pre-season in Australia?
Gold Coast is set to play host to English Premier League (EPL) Football Club West Ham United this July as they feature in the EVA Air Queensland Champions Cup alongside A-League outfit Brisbane Roar FC at CBUS Stadium.

Our very own Elite Sporting Fields (Gold Coast Sports Precinct) will also welcome Crystal Palace Football Club as the two EPL teams train ahead of their Queensland matches.

Anyone got in more details?

Re: Pre-season in Australia?
There was a time when EVA were cheap and cheerful. That's why I flew them.. Business class out and premium economy back. Then they upgraded their business cabin and are definitely no longer cheap.
I don't take notice of these airline surveys done by Skytrax. They are just a fraud who sell awards and invent new ones for any obscure airline who will pay.

Re: Pre-season in Australia?
They do 1 flight a day between London and Bangkok/Taipei. Their only Australian destination is Brisbane. The LHR-BKK leg is always pretty full, so I suspect they must be looking to expand.

Why am I not surprised that our 'official airline partner' is a Taiwanese airline?
